"The room's detailed design was excellent, significantly enhancing comfort. The background music in the room was truly delightful and a first for me – I absolutely loved it. The breakfast spread was incredibly rich and varied each day, and there were complimentary self-service refreshments available in the lobby at all times. The staff were all warm and welcoming, always greeting guests with a smile. Housekeeping communicated via notes, which was a nice touch. They even had umbrellas available for loan in the lobby on rainy days. This is one of the most satisfying hotels we've ever stayed in, highly recommended!"

"I chose this hotel at first glance while searching, and I wasn't disappointed after my stay! The location is superb, extremely close to the scenic spot entrance, saving a lot of travel time. The room view is amazing; you can see the scenery as soon as you open the window, perfect for taking photos. The cleanliness is top-notch, even the corners are spotless, and all toiletries are disposable, which is reassuring and hygienic. "This was our first summer family trip to Wuhan, and we chose Atour Hotel Wuhan Gaokong. The rooms were spotless, spacious, and offered excellent views. The location is incredibly convenient – stepping out of the hotel feels like entering paradise! Situated right in the heart of Jianghan Road Pedestrian Street's core commercial district, it's a huge bonus for families with kids. If the kids got tired from walking, we could easily pop back up to the room for a rest and recharge before heading out again. Milk tea, snacks, local specialties – everything was just steps away, and we didn't have to worry about transportation at all. Being right next to Jianghan Road Metro Station also made it super convenient for visiting attractions like Yellow Crane Tower and Hubei Provincial Museum, or even crossing the river to Hankou River Beach and taking a ferry. From our room, we could overlook the vibrant streetscape of Jianghan Road and the distant, shimmering river. The city was bustling with traffic during the day and lit up spectacularly at night. This high-rise vantage point offered the kids a more comprehensive understanding of the city's layout and vibrancy, which was a nice little educational bonus. The 'Zhuju' (Bamboo Dwelling) in the hotel lobby was a wonderful spot to relax. During our downtime, we could bring the kids there for some quiet reading. A special thank you goes to the front desk staff who helped us with everything so clearly and efficiently. We will definitely stay here again on our next visit to Wuhan!"

"This is my second visit to Wuhan, and I decided to try a different five-star hotel. This time, I chose the established Shangri-La. My overall impression is that the high price comes with being a five-star hotel, but the five-star experience is solely reflected in the service. Firstly, I'm not really looking for super new or luxurious facilities; otherwise, reading all those reviews about outdated facilities and furniture would have been enough to 'veto' it. However, there are indeed many areas that could be improved. For example, there are no power outlets on either side of the bed. While the TV not supporting screen mirroring and not being a smart TV is one thing, it's also incredibly unclear with very few channels. These are all manageable, but the most serious issue is the extremely poor soundproofing! In the room, I could clearly hear conversations from the hallway, upstairs, and next door, as well as children running and playing. This level of soundproofing would be disastrous during peak travel seasons like holidays. As I mentioned earlier, the hotel's biggest highlight is probably its service. There's a staff member in front of the elevators on the ground floor who greets passing guests. When going for breakfast, as soon as you enter, a female staff member asks what you'd like to drink, then prepares it and brings it to your table. On a side note: the breakfast is quite good. And having stayed at many five-star hotels in China, perhaps apart from Shanghai, this is one of the rare ones that offers plain white rice for breakfast. It's very suitable for those who are accustomed to eating rice (and natto) for breakfast. In conclusion: if you're looking for quality rest during peak travel seasons and major holidays, this might not be the place for you. However, during the off-season, if you want to experience five-star service, you could consider it. It makes me truly appreciate the common saying online: 'Wuhan – a desert of luxury hotels.'"

"The hotel service was good, and its location was very convenient. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The front desk staff were very attentive and helpful with information. Breakfast offered a wide variety of options and tasted delicious. In the evenings, they even provided two kinds of congee and some snacks in the lobby. "A very satisfying stay. You should still book an old star hotel, which has all the services you should have and new styles. The specific feelings are: 1. The environment is awesome, living in the park, there are birds, fish, cats and white rabbits. 2. The window balcony looks out to the lake, which is worth it. 3.
